Syncronisity or prophecy? My story.

Just a weird coincidence but I thought it something to post. This is page 5 from my NaNoWriMo novel. I wrote this, mind you, November 1st prior to the election. It's a book about a game gone wrong in 2026- this part is back history to the setting for the 2026 story. Again, given the news today, I thought it intriguingly odd how similar the news and this page 6 meshed.

You'd have to read the first 5 to get an idea of why society collapsed, but piff - my story line isn't the point- yet.

When Two Thousand and Twelve came and went, it coincided with an active planetary cycle involving solar flares and a slight adjustment of magnetic polarization. While these degrees of longitude slowly shifted, hurricane sprouted like weeds upon a lawn, the crust of the Earth belched and cracked, whirlwinds swept clean parts of Terra, but not catastrophically, and certainly undisruptive to the greater part of society. However, the economic stagnation and dependency on governments overwhelmed all remaining resources creating an upheaval in crime and social deterioration as bad as what was thought predicted for 2012.
What started as a popular theory as to the meaning of a craved stone calendar and other mythological predictions, turned into a blatant abuse of power.
And those who held power were brought down by the people, each according to their way, and our way was still holding to the Constitution and Bill of Rights. In Two Thousand and Fourteen, world wide, as if in a singularity of thought , modern democracies elected commoners as they were called; people called upon by common folk to represent them in government. In 2014, and 2016 every commoner who ran, was elected, including our own President of the United States. A mechanic from ___________.
The countries where freedoms were limited by use of armed enforcement, faltered. Their military's turned against their own tyrannical leaders, also replacing them with commoners. The phenomenon was taken as a sign. We had been through the tribulations foretold by our ancestors. The earth shook, famine hit a few countries, disease ramped up after the tsunamis, but more importantly was the collapse of our money system. Humanity survived what it thought was The End Times. But little did we know...........................................
